Clifton Hill Home

Working with the home’s original structure, Polychrome transformed this home into a calm and welcoming retreat. Kitchen storage was kept clean and understated, hidden behind joinery cupboards designed to feel more like loved furniture than standard cabinetry. Simple floor tiles help tie the kitchen and living areas together, while oak timber veneer adds warmth and texture to the joinery. A new skylight brought extra natural light onto the kitchen benchtops, and replacing the sliding doors with folding doors created a stronger connection to the outdoor deck and lush garden beyond.

A simple palette of materials and forms can provide a cohesive and relaxing home environment.
